Having been suspected of drowning his sister, 10-year-old Joey returns home and creates havoc for his fragile mother and elderly carer. With Joey’s father away on business, the family find themselves at the mercy of assorted dangers. This Hammer Films production sees Davis relish her role as a British nanny who harbours a big secret and embarks on a battle of wills with a troubled young boy.

We are pleased to confirm that we will be screening a 35mm print from the BFI National Archive.
