‘He’s not the Messiah, he’s a very naughty boy’: Brian Cohen spends his life being mistaken for the Messiah due to a series of coincidences that are seized upon by a fanatical group of followers. This controversial religious satire was unseen in various parts of the world (including certain UK counties) for many years, but its endlessly quotable lines and irreverent humour make it a comedy classic.
