Béatrice Dalle, the queen of New French Extremity, and Charlotte Gainsbourg play versions of themselves, sitting around on a set, telling each other stories about witches, cinema and the tediousness of filmmaking. Originally commissioned as an ad for Yves Saint Laurent, this is perhaps anti-advertising; less a horror film and more a split-screen psychedelic essay on coolness, hysteria and chaos.
