A young woman returns to her childhood home, a village near a war zone in Armenia, to convince her grandparents to flee with her for safety. She embarks on an intimate journey through personal memories and shared history. This elegiac debut, the first feature directed by a woman in Armenia, drew comparisons with Andrei Tarkovsky and the poetic montage of Artavazd Peleshyan. Among the impressive cast is Sofiko Chiaureli, a regular of Sergei Parajanov’s films, in her final screen role.

2K restoration within the framework of the Hamo Bek-Nazarov Project, approved by the film’s cinematographer Maksim Drozdov, with support from Kino Klassika and Fixafilm.
