An instant box office success, it was groundbreaking for its startling special effects and a marketing campaign that changed the very notion of the blockbuster. To celebrate the Star Wars universe, the BFI Reuben library will be hosting a special event on Sun 4 May. The library holds unique books released alongside the first films, celebratory anniversary books and even one with sound effects!
