This fast-paced Ealing caper follows an anonymous bank employee’s ingenious plan to rob the Bank of England with the aid of his odd-ball accomplices. Chaos ensues as their plan threatens to come unstuck, thanks to French bureaucracy and some troublesome English schoolgirls. Shot on location, the film is notable for highlighting the City of London’s blitz-scarred landscape.

Free for the over-60s (booking by phone or in person only), otherwise normal matinee price.
