In this light-hearted drama, five male friends do all they can to avoid the responsibilities of adulthood.
Dir Federico Fellini
With Alberto Sordi, Franco Fabrizi, Franco Interlenghi, Leopoldo Trieste, Riccardo Fellini
Five male friends do all they can to avoid the responsibilities of adulthood in Fellini’s deeply personal, wistfully comic third film as director. Featuring an achingly beautiful score by Fellini’s regular collaborator Nino Rota, I Vitelloni was one of Stanley Kubrick’s favourites, and would also go on to influence many of the filmmakers of the New American Cinema.
