Recent police academy graduate Jeffrey Cole (Omar Epps) dreams of working undercover. His wish comes true when he’s assigned to take down the infamous crack cocaine dealer Dwayne Gittens (LL Cool J), known on the street as God. Cole goes undercover to gain God’s trust but somewhere along the way he loses himself in his alias – or so his superior officers believe.
