Based on Henry James’ The Turn of the Screw, The Innocents follows a newly appointed governess who is responsible for two children at a large country estate. As she starts to suspect that her wards might be possessed by spirits, she uncovers the history of the property, and is forced to question her own sanity. With stunningly atmospheric cinematography from Freddie Francis and a fantastic score, this is a treat on the big screen.
