Cole was a mentee of Sim’s and they appeared on screen together a number of times. This fast-paced crime comedy features Sim as a mastermind assassin and Cole as the well-meaning but incident-prone innocent hot on his tail. Both actors seem to be having enormous fun and the film has the added bonus of Terry-Thomas as a member of the cast.
The screening of The Green Man on Wednesday 28 May 18:20 NFT2 will be introduced by Dick Fiddy, BFI Archive TV Programmer.
