Nora (Adams) is a single mother trying to raise her two teenage daughters in a trailer-park town in the desert of New Mexico. Rebellious Trudi (Skye) skips school to hang out with boys while daydreamer Shade (Balk) wants nothing but to find a good boyfriend for her mother. Anders’ moving portrait of three women, each going through a journey of self-discovery, stands out as one of the most underappreciated gems of the Sundance class of 92.

Presented in 2K, this 2017 digital print was completed under the supervision of director Allison Anders in preparation for the film’s 25th anniversary. This is a rare opportunity to see a modern indie classic on the big screen.
