10 May, 10:30am to – 2:30pm, BFI Southbank NFT3

Building on the success of last year's inaugural edition, this event-presented by the UK Asian Film Festival in collaboration with the BFI and Film London-aims to equip emerging filmmakers with the tools, knowledge, and networks to navigate UK-India co-productions with confidence.

Through a dynamic mix of expert panels, a pilot pitching workshop, and curated networking opportunities, the event will demystify key co-production frameworks and funding pathways, and highlight the potential of platforms such as the Film London Production Finance Market and the BFI's International Co-Production Fund.

A special case study of BAFTA nominated UK-India film Sister Midnight will anchor the day's discussions.

The panel features:

  • Agnieszka Moody (Head of International Relations, BFI)
  • Michelle Jenkins (Head of Production Services at Film London)
  • Alastair Clark (Producer, Wellington Films)

Full event schedule:

  • 10:30 – Screening of Sister Midnight
  • 12:30 – Panel talk with audience Q&A
