Join us for this special screening of a documentary project produced by The Meridian Society, exploring the oral histories of the little-known Chinese Labour Corps; where almost 100,000 men were recruited by the British army during WWI to provide logistical help at the Front. Peng Wenlan, director of The Meridian Society’s heritage project on the Chinese Labour Corps, will introduce the film and explain the historical background to this fascinating story.
