Film Development and Editing Surgery for Young People (12 to 16 year olds)

Join our four-day workshop for an opportunity to get feedback from filmmakers and tutors, and finetune your film.

Do you have an idea for a film? Have you shot a film and want feedback on your edit? Do you want to know how you would go about submitting your film to film festivals for young people?

Developing their craft and meeting new people, this workshop provides young people between 12 and 16 years old an opportunity to meet likeminded peers, get feedback from filmmakers and film tutors, and spend time developing their idea / finetuning their film at BFI Southbank. Students will have access to our professional scriptwriting software, filmmaking equipment and editing software, as well as the expertise of our tutors to guide them on progressing their film projects.
