Bill Harford, a good-looking, successful doctor, is triggered when his wife shares her private sexual fantasies. He plunges into the Manhattan night, embarking on his own sexual odyssey, which soon turns into something darker. Cruise famously dedicated over a year of his life to the production of Kubrick’s provocative final film and it is one of his most compelling roles – an unsettling exploration of self, fantasy and the fragility of seemingly secure relationships.
