‘Tis the season to be spooky with a German silent from a century ago, the same year that The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari was made – also starring the great Conrad Veidt. Eerie Tales is an anthology film of five gothic, ghostly or macabre tales from the greats of the genre, including Edgar Allan Poe and Robert Louis Stevenson. They’re narrated by the Harlot, The Devil and even Death himself.
