Xavier Beauvois wrote, directed and starred in this confrontational account of the long day’s journey into night taken by Benoit (Beauvois), a Parisian student who after discovering he is HIV positive, tumbles headfirst into a world of drugs and reckless experiences alongside Omar (a brilliant young Zem). Things look up when he meets Claudia (Mastroianni), but fate may already have played its hand.
