A group of dancers rehearse in a remote location and descend into delirium and madness after their sangria is spiked with acid. Starring a mix of actors and amateur and professional dancers, Climax is a feat of frenzied choreography: dance horror at its finest. Neatly structured in two sections, Noé’s most kinetic film is also his most contained.

The screening on Monday 30 May will be introduced by season programmer Anna Bogutskaya.
