Children’s Classics on 16mm
With a colourful medley of cartoons, an orphaned squirrel, and mind-blowing science on display there is something for everyone in this family screening.

- Total running time 65min
Our animated offering will give you a chance to follow Rosie’s Walk (1970), attend the Butterfly Ball (1974), groan at The Day of the Terrible Jokes (1986) with Henry’s Cat, and howl at the moon with Little Wolf (1992). Charles and Ray Eames’ Powers of Ten (1977) is a cosmic classroom classic that will take you across the universe and back again, before Squirrel On My Shoulder (1979) offers a heart-warming, real-life story of life on Earth. All the films will be screened from 16mm prints from the BFI National Archive, with an opportunity to see and learn about projecting on film.
