Celebrating the British Entertainment History Project
A discussion about the cultural history project keeping British cinema’s rich past alive.

- Total running time 80min
For the past 35 years, the British Entertainment History Project has painstakingly recorded interviews with over 800 working men and women from the UK film, television, radio and theatre industries. Memories and anecdotes from directors of photography, film editors, hair and makeup artists, actors, projectionists, script writers and costume designers working over the course of the last 100 years have been preserved for future generations. To celebrate the British Entertainment History Project’s incredible archive of knowledge and experience, the BFI Reuben Library welcomes its representatives for a lively discussion on this wide-ranging project.
Tickets £6.50.
