Bogancloch is where modern-day hermit Jake Williams lives, nestled in one of Scotland’s vast highland forests. His daily life is captured on different stocks of 16mm film by filmmaker and artist Ben Rivers. A follow-up to Rivers’ previous portrait of Jake, Two Years at Sea, his latest, utterly mesmerising work also stands on its own – a dreamlike meditation on nature, solitude, the power of music and one individual’s singular approach to life.
Audience members will have a chance to win a Blu-ray copy of Worlds: Selected Works by Ben Rivers during the Q&A.
