David Niven plays Henry, a bishop who prays for divine intervention to find the money for his new cathedral. He receives it in the form of Dudley (Grant), who claims to be an angel that’s looking to help him out. Despite Dudley’s popularity, Henry doesn’t warm to him and is envious of his bond with the parish – and his ever-distant wife. Henry Koster’s fantasy-comedy is an amusing treat.
