Who Can You Trust?

The Big Thrill

11 November

Dive deep into thrillers with a day of films, talks, masterclasses and panel discussions.

The Big Thrill

Over one rollercoaster ride of a day The Big Thrill will bring together leading storytellers, screenwriters, actors, directors, composers, journalists, podcasters to help you explore why the thriller is the genre of our times. Duck and dive through over 15 events dissecting the craft of cinematic suspense and interviewing some of the world’s top thrill-makers. Grab a coffee in the bar as storytellers tell you the tales of the sidelined characters in classic thrillers. Debate the power of the thriller in an era of fake news and catfishing. Act as judge, jury and hangman in a live vigilante vote. Get a chance to see a rare print of a Missing Believed Lost archive classic. Hear from leading screenwriters like Abi Morgan and leading actors like Stellan Skarsgård and, if you dare, hold a bloody heart in the immersive Doom Room and close the night with a mystery film. By the time you leave there is nothing you won’t know about the thriller…

All events over The Big Thrill Day (excluding individually ticketed NFT1 events) will be accessed by an All Day Pass wristband - £10 for the day (£8 for Members).

£5 All Day Pass wristbands available in advance for anyone aged 16-25 (all wristbands are collected from the Box office and you will need a valid form of ID).
