2013 BAFTA and BFI Screenwriting Lecture Series

This year sees the fourth in our world-renowned series of BAFTA Screenwriters’ Lectures, in conjunction with the BFI and the JJ Charitable Trust.

At the BFI Southbank we will be hosting Susannah Grant (Erin Brockovich, Pocahontas), David S Goyer (Superman, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises) and Tony Gilroy (the Bourne films, Michael Clayton). Richard Curtis, creator of some of the UK’s most successful films, and Hossein Amini (Drive, Jude, Wings of a Dove) will also be giving lectures at BAFTA in London (to book check bafta.org). We celebrate the ghosts in the machine, invisible in every frame of the finished film: the screenwriters.
