Around the World in 100 Prints: Creating 100 35mm film prints
A BFI National Archive team presentation on the typical trials and tribulations involved in making a new 35mm print.

- Total running time 90min
What’s it like to make a new 35mm film print? What’s it like to make 100? And why do it? Between 2017 and 2023, the BFI National Archive, with funding from the National Lottery and the additional support of donors to our Keep Film on Film campaign, created 106 1⁄2 prints of great international classics. This team presentation will take you on that journey of discovery. They’ll show you how and why it was done and you’ll get to see and hear film tests in their surprising beauty and sometimes upsetting failures!
Tickets £4.
