Join us for a preview of this creative and intimate portrait of Toni Morrison in her own words, with contributions from Fran Lebowitz, Oprah Winfrey, Hilton Als and others. The charismatic, Nobel-prizewinning novelist, who died last year, reflects on her career, from her childhood in a steel town in Ohio to 1970s book tours with Muhammad Ali, and from the front lines with Angela Davis to her own riverfront writing room. Morrison leads peers, critics and colleagues on an exploration of race, America, history and the human condition, as seen through the prism of her profound and internationally acclaimed literature.
