Beautiful blonde Betty (Naomi Watts) arrives in Hollywood with ambitions to become the next big movie star. She meets a mysterious brunette (Laura Harring) who has amnesia, having recently emerged from a car crash. David Lynch’s most enigmatic feature is rich with references to The Wizard of Oz, leading many audiences to believe the 1939 classic to be key to unlocking the secrets of Mulholland Drive.
