Bask in glorious images of seals, lions, weedy dragon fish and more, beautifully captured on Super 8, in this poetic love letter to nature. Known for running the popular filmmaking competition Straight 8, Ed Sayers has enjoyed a lifelong passion for Super 8mm film. After being struck by beautiful footage of flamingos captured on the format, he devised a globe-spanning documentary to celebrate the wildlife that surrounds us. Super 8 cameras were despatched to collaborators across 25 countries, which provide an exhilarating journey across land, air and beneath the water’s surface. This seamlessly edited meditation on the natural world, while acknowledging the threat that many species face, is something to marvel at on the big screen.
