In the latest film from Mamoru Hosoda (Belle, Mirai, Wolf Children), Scarlet, a medieval, sword-wielding princess on a mission to avenge her father's death, finds herself transported into a strange time-bending world. Hosoda's fantasy spin on Hamlet is brimming with action, imagination, and beauty as the celebrated anime master experiments with a heady blend of 2D and 3D animation techniques. The results are stunning, strikingly detailed and must be experienced on the big screen.
