July’s Collection Focus will offer a trip through the history of the road movie.

‘Follow the yellow brick road!’ – The Wizard of Oz

In July, the BFI Reuben Library takes you on a trip through the history of the road movie – from the conventional to the futuristic and metaphorical. Our librarians have scoured the collection for lone wolves, dynamic duos and mismatched gangs that undertake journeys of self-discovery and redemption arcs. Featuring rare and oversize material from the library collection, we will have something for every kind of traveller.
