Mini Filmmakers Club

A Saturday filmmaking club for 8 to 11-year-olds.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to run the Filmmakers Clubs this term. We apologise for the inconvenience and any disappointment this may cause. We will be starting a new programme of filmmaking and workshops opportunities for families in September 2026.

Price per child: £135 for all 6 sessions

In these sessions children will create their own film trailers. The Mini Filmmakers will discover how to capture an audience’s imagination while exploring different parts of the filmmaking process, including storytelling, performance, camera work and editing. Guided by experienced educators, students will watch memorable trailers from a range of films and look closely at how filmmakers build excitement in just a few moments. Together, they will explore how music, pacing and carefully chosen shots create suspense and spark curiosity.
