Inland Empire follows an actress cast in an impossible film, who finds it difficult to navigate the blurred lines between reality and artifice. Her descent is electrifyingly portrayed by Laura Dern. Shot without a script and on digital video – ‘giving more room to dream’ – Lynch’s final feature is a gripping experimental masterpiece. Dern joins us ahead of the screening to share her experiences of collaborating with David Lynch.
