This four-week course explores David Lynch’s cinema from multiple angles – his surrealist experiments within the Hollywood system, the psychoanalytic dimensions of his dream imagery, the complex portrayals of his female characters, and the enduring mythology of Twin Peaks. Through a range of perspectives, tutors Mary Wild and Paul Sutton will trace how Lynch’s films blur reality and dreams.
The course is £79 (Concessions £51).
Waterloo Bridge (near BFI Southbank) will be closed on 7 June Sunday between 7am and 7pm. BFI Southbank will be closed Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 June due to a private event.
