A fairytale marriage is not what new bride Cherry is experiencing with avoidant husband Jerome. Unbeknown to her, there’s mischief afoot. It appears in the form of handsome stranger Manfred, whose attentions towards Cherry appear to be more than friendly. It’s up to her devoted maid, Hero, to intervene and hopefully save the day. Adapted from Isabel Greenberg’s graphic novel, Jackman’s charming, witty and devilishly mischievous romp is a refreshing take on love, gender, sexuality and the power of storytelling.
