What Could Have Been: Something’s Got to Give
An illustrated talk examining the background of Marilyn Monroe’s final, unfinished film.
- Total running time 80min
The final film production Monroe worked on was marred by drama. The shooting was delayed on several occasions due to Monroe’s health and she upset studio executives when she left the production to sing at John F. Kennedy’s birthday gala. In this talk, film critic and historian Pamela Hutchinson will dive into into the different stories behind the film that never was and look at the footage that survives from this project.
