Virtual Young Filmmakers Club

A virtual Saturday filmmaking club with at-home filmmaking activities for 12 to 16-year-olds.

On sale to BFI Members from 11:30 on Tuesday 5 March, and on general sale from 11:30 on Thursday 7 March.

10:30am to 12:00pm, 6 live online sessions

Price per young person: £70 for all 6 sessions

For six Saturday mornings, students from across the UK come together on Zoom to learn about filmmaking and shoot their own films using their smartphones.

Students will learn how to analyse films, paying attention to various levels of filming techniques, storytelling practices and camera compositions. Ticket holders will be sent a private link to the online sessions. All Zoom sessions are recorded for safeguarding purposes.
