In a dystopian LA of the (then) future, street hustler Nero illegally sells VR-like recordings that allow users to experience the memories of others. A shocking recording, which could bring the city to its knees, falls into his hands, drawing him and his long-suffering friend into a dangerous conspiracy. Bigelow’s sci-fi neo-noir features spectacularly staged sequences, alongside themes of addiction, voyeurism and abuses of power that drive this top-notch, state of the nation thriller.
Contains scenes of racism, sexual violence and police brutality.
