Director Óliver Laxe’s hallucinatory journey drifts between road movie, political parable and ritual. It’s an overwhelming experience that really takes you on a thrilling, otherworldly ride and demands debate.

Our discussion takes place in the BFI Reuben Library, immediately after our screening of Sirât on Wednesday 4 March at 18:30 NFT3. Members can book a joint ticket to the salon and the screening for themselves and their guests in advance for just £8.

Members who watched the film on another date are welcome to come along to the free Salon discussion and show their Membership Card for admission on a first come, first served basis.
