To celebrate the release of his The Taste of Things, we invite you to relish Trần Anh Hùng’s stunning feature debut. It tells the story of Mùi, a young servant girl in 1950s Saigon, who goes to work for an aristocratic family that has fallen on tough times. In addition to Tran’s signature sumptuous visuals, the film shares some of The Taste of Things’ themes of ritual and the rhythm of preparing food for the ones we love. This is a rare opportunity to see the film on 35mm.
