BFI Southbank will continue to operate on a reduced capacity with additional safety measures in place. Some of our normal services will continue to be unavailable and we hope to have these back as soon as possible. Our handy guide below outlines the changes we have made and how you can access our services and you can view our more detailed FAQs here.

General Information/Buying Tickets

  • We strongly recommend customers wear a face covering at all times whilst in the screens and around the building.
  • Our accessible booking line is open Mon to Fri 11:30am to 3:30pm 020 7960 2102).
  • Please purchase tickets online in advance
  • At the moment BFI Southbank is cashless across all areas, including bars & restaurants.

Cinema Information

NFT1

We are operating at a reduced capacity, with additional safety measures in place, so please familiarise yourself with these changes before you visit.

Access to NFT1 will be through the side entrance on Theatre Avenue. A member of staff will be on hand at this entrance 30 minutes before doors open to assist customers and manage queues.

All seating is unallocated to allow for personal distancing and we ask that you continue to show consideration and kindness to others and be respectful of personal space and boundaries. Please leave space between you and others in the screens.

We strongly recommend you wear a face covering at all times.

At the end of the screening, you will be asked to leave the auditorium by the exit next to the screen, taking you out onto Theatre Avenue.

If another member of the audience needs to leave during the screening, please vacate the row you are sitting in to prevent contact.

NFT2

We are operating at a reduced capacity, with additional safety measures in place, so please familiarise yourself with these changes before you visit.

BFI Reuben Library

We are operating a booking only system and reduced hours, so please ensure you book a time slot before arrival. Access to the BFI Reuben Library will be through the Lightbox entrance on Theatre Avenue. A member of staff will be on hand at this entrance to assist customers and direct you. Please have your booking confirmation ready to hand.
