A MUBI release
From director Park Chan-wook and based on Donald E. Westlake's novel THE AX, No Other Choice follows what happens when paper expert Yoo Man-soo is abruptly laid off, losing the perfect life he's worked hard for. “We're sorry. We have no other choice.” So, when a new job finally comes along, he realises a perfect plan - by getting rid of his competition via any available means. Director Park's delightfully wicked film features his signature twists, dark humour and exquisite imagery - everything that has made him such a unique cinematic presence.
