The realisation of a long-held desire to make a film in and about an art museum, this insightful, often droll portrait of London’s venerable institution is one of Wiseman’s most self-reflexive works. A gallery tour unlike any other, it takes in public and private spaces and invites us to ponder the processes of making, exhibiting and viewing art.
