Stevie, a 13-year-old in 1990s Los Angeles, with an empty summer and an unhappy home life seeks solace in a group of older skaters. Chasing acceptance and friendship Stevie pushes himself and those around him to the limit. Mid90s continues the coming-of-age theme prevalent throughout the season.

Contains scenes of drug use as well as homophobic, ableist and racist language.
