Emerging from the emotional aftershocks of the pandemic and shaped by Don DeLillo’s one-act play The Word for Snow, acclaimed British filmmaker Ben River’s latest takes us on a child-led journey through a fragile future. Written for and starring Moon Guo Barker, Mare’s Nest unfolds across landscapes in Menorca and the UK, which were filmed over a three-year period. It incorporates a film-within-the-film structure that blends unease, wonder and collaborative imagination.
Tickets £17, concessions £14 (Members pay £2.50 less).
