We welcome Neil Pettigrew, co-author (with Philip Jablon) of The Amazing Movie Posters of Thailand (Ghoulish Publishing, 2023). Neil will present an illustrated talk exploring what makes Thai film posters such a unique art form, and how they borrow from western traditions while remaining distinctly Thai. For many years, censorship of Thai film posters was almost non-existent, so expect to see imagery of a kind that would be prohibited in the West.
