There’s a great white shark off the coastline of tourist destination Amity Island as it heads into Independence Day, yet the local mayor and his minions seem unwilling to take the threat seriously. But following another attack, the town’s sheriff, an oceanographer and an expert shark hunter set off to kill the beast. Spielberg’s film redefined the cinema blockbuster making the most of John William’s suspenseful score and a mechanical shark the film’s crew named ‘Bruce’.
The screening on Monday 16 March will be presented with Descriptive Subtitles.
