As we launch our two-month long survey of Brazilian cinema, join season curators Renata de Almeida and Adriana Rouanet, alongside Professor Lúcia Nagib, University of Reading, for a richly illustrated overview of the season hosted by journalist Demetrios Matheou. The speakers will spotlight key titles and hidden gems from the programme, while discussing the most influential movements and filmmakers of Brazilian cinema, and reflecting on the state of Brazilian cinema and the country’s film industry in the 21st century.
