Sanghita Sen reveals the work-in-progress on her documentary about Ritwik Ghatak. Like Ghatak, Sanghita comes from a family uprooted by the Bengal Partition. She explores his extraordinary artistic legacy and uncompromising life through the lens of that shared historical tragedy, which continues to fracture the culture and politics of the Indian sub-continent today. She asks why, 50 years after his death, Ghatak has become such a powerful icon and inspiration to people like her.
