A six-session course, for beginners and aficionados alike, that explores Truffaut's journey from critic to filmmaker, his role in the French New Wave and more.

To accompany our major two-month Truffaut season, Ginette Vincendeau (King’s College London) and colleagues present a six-session course. Through presentations, clips and discussion, tutors will explore topics including Truffaut’s journey from critic to filmmaker, his role in the French New Wave, his Antoine Doinel series, his attitude to women, romance and death and his representation of Paris.
Beginners and aficionados equally welcome.
Course fee: £90.
Enrolment includes a complimentary ticket to the season introduction talk.
