Documentary filmmaker Ron Peck follows a group of young working-class boxers from the East End of London as they attempt to navigate their way to the top of their sport. This nuanced film by one of Britain’s most respected filmmakers movingly captures the raw conditions and visceral realities behind the bright lights of the fight.
The screening of Fighters on Tuesday 28 April will include a Q&A with boxers Jimmy and Mark Tibbs.
